Victoria Williams-Faux earned her Associate's degree in Human Services at Mercer County Community College, New Jersey, her Bachelor’s degree from Vermont College, Vermont, concentrating on Psychology and History, and her Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, New Jersey with emphasis on International Social Work. She worked for the New Jersey Department of Corrections as a Social Worker and as an adjunct instructor at her Alma mater, Mercer County Community college.
Victoria was raised with a Christian background and all her life has had a passion for God and compassion for people. It is these passions that led her to pursue an education and career in Social work, which ultimately stirred up her enthusiasm to answer the call to Ministry. She completed her Certified Lay Servant (CLS) course from the Greater New Jersey United Methodist Church and is a certified local pastor. She also completed a course in Theology and Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary, where she earned her Certificate in Theology and Ministry (C:TM). She also believes that being of service is part of a citizen's obligation and has been volunteering with Parents Anonymous of New Jersey for over 14 years.
Some notable scholastic achievements: Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Alpha Honor Society and Alpha Theta Gamma International; and the prestigious Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Scholarship Award offered by the National Corrections Association. One thing that is always constant for Victoria is that she loves the Lord passionately and stands on the Apostle Paul's words in Philippians 4:13, that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her, and Philippians 3:14, pressing towards the mark for the upward calling in Christ Jesus.
